Engaging young audiences into film.

Organised by the Doha Film Institute, the Ajyal Youth Film Festival in Qatar is the first of its kind in the Gulf Region trying to inspire a younger generation of cinema-goers.

As part of a wider project for the Institute we developed the strategy and creative expression for the youth festival.

The Ajyal brand is about inviting participation and dialogue from younger audiences. The brand identity works like a kaleidoscope, celebrating the constant change of light and mirroring the dialogue that cinema sparks; it evokes the coming together of people around storytelling. It is an invitation not just to watch but to participate in cinema.
